Job description: 
Chloe and Abigail are founders of Buttercrumble, a creative design studio based in Leeds, established in 2017. They specialise in creative services for good ideas and good causes, designing for brands including John Lewis and the National Trust. They are also published authors of “The Brand Power Manifesto”.

My top tip:  It's not what you know, it's not who you know, it's who knows you!

Job description: Throughout August I worked at the Henry Moore Institute as a workshop assistant and creative advisor. I am currently working on a heritage project with Sunny Bank Mills funded by a University of Leeds bursary. Additionally I am exhibiting in Scarborough (Old Parcels Office) and Farsley (Sunny Bank Mills). [Editor's note] Alice also received a Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures Berkofsky Arts Award 2025, and is the 2025 FUAM Graduate Art Prize winner 2025.

My top tip: Build on your network. Have confidence in yourself and your work and don't be afraid to get in touch with artists/curators etc in and around Leeds and see what opportunities there are.

Three things to ask me:
1. How to build your Leeds artist network.
2. How to create a strong application/proposal.
3. Anything to do with creating and executing an exhibition or event.

Job description:
The development of bespoke creative pathways for Pyramid members, which are flexible and highly personalised for the individual. Coordinating the Pyramid Studio/Office timetable, ensuring that it is adaptable and works for all. Coordinate the recruitment of new freelance artist facilitators and to match them up with relevant projects. Respond to and monitor project proposals from artists. Coordinate project outcomes ie professional photography of finished work, filming of sharing's etc. Lead on project planning and project evaluations with artist facilitators. Coordinate and ensure the smooth running of one off grant funded projects.

My top tip:  Meet people, try new things and hang out in the library!

Job description: I am a multimedia artist and curator specialising in murals, public art, and community-led projects. I blend storytelling, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary practice to create site-specific, immersive environments. With experience in project management, facilitation, and curation, I also run We Belong Here CIC, fostering inclusive creative communities across Yorkshire and beyond.

My top tip:  Talk to people and be curious- you never know where a conversation might lead and there are no bad questions! Connections, opportunities, and collaborations often come from the people you meet along the way, so stay open and approachable.

Three  Five things to ask me:
1. Creating murals and large-scale public artworks, from design to delivery
2. Working with communities ethically and genuinely to co-create art that reflects their stories and cultures
3. Running events and exhibitions, from concept and programming to delivery and audience engagement
4. Building a freelance career and running creative projects and an organisation- gaining skills in project management, budgeting, fundraising, networking, time management, collaboration, and curation
5. Navigating life as an international student and developing into an international freelancer working on a work visa.
